The Interpreter: A Journal of LDS Faith and Scholarship (aka, https://journal.interpreterfoundation.org/journal/, fka mormoninterpreter.com) is an online/print journal that publishes purportedly peer-reviewed articles. Many of the articles are useful, but often the "Interpreters" engage in peer approval instead of peer review to enforce their own orthodoxy. Here I offer my peer reviews of these articles.
A friend of mine sent me one of the more outlandish theories of Book of Mormon geography.
I told him, "submit it to the Interpreter. They'll print anything so long as it doesn't support what Joseph and Oliver said about the origin and setting of the Book of Mormon."
